Australia-wide. Sydney is by far our busiest, followed by Melbourne and Brisbane. We do get work in WA, but it is very quiet. Unfortunately we do not represnt in SA, ACT or NT, however if you do reside there and are prepared to Travel intersate, we will consider professionals. Clients may even fly you interstate if you are what they are looking for.
Real people, all shapes, sizes, ethnicity, religion, disability or ability. TV commercials require different looks all the time, all you need is confidence and experience will follow. Being flexible to attend all castings and jobs is a big advantage. We trust you as a responsible parent to make the right decision that your child is suitable and happy to be working in the industry.
Women of all age, size and experience can model. Our clients are looking for pregnant models with bumps of all sizes too. Some women’s bumps appear much quicker than others, so it’s difficult to suggest the best time to join. We’d suggest that you get in touch as soon as you know about your pregnancy.
Whilst you are pregnant and have other children with whom you would like to model, you can be in both our Pregnant Division and our Mother & Child Division for no extra cost.
All ages will be considered; older mums with their teenage sons or daughters or younger mums with newborns & Toddlers. We regularly work with some of the largest names in advertising TV & commercials, some starting with little or no professional modeling experience.
Father & Child Division;
We’re looking for Fathers of all ages with their own children; Dad next-door types or hunky professional models. Anyone with a skill such as playing sport well is also an advantage as this is something often requested. Realistically, all you need is flexibility from work so you can attend auditions and jobs.
This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy the modeling experience with the whole family, and no need to pay for childcare whilst you go out to work! This is a fun experience and a great memory to share together. We have a special offer if you are in our Mother or Father Division and your child is in Cheeky Bumps; we will create a Real Family card for you absolutely FREE. Alternatively, if you only want family work you can just sign to Real Families Division
From 15 years and above - Quirky, Cool, Skilled or different, this is the division for you. You dont have to be pregnant or have your own family to be in this division.
We have become very popular for having babies from as early as Newborn, mainly due to having our Pregnant Division. Some have labelled us "The Baby Guru's" within the Entertainment Industry. We are the only established professional Agency in Australia covering this niche market. We work closely with Kids Guardian, which is a government agency that works to protect children by promoting and regulating quality, child safe organisations and services. We continue to represent children all the way up to 17 years old. All older Teens will be moved over to Street Cast Division
Siblings:
We offer this FREE if two or more children are signed to Cheeky Bumps.
Twins, Triplets:
If you have Identical Twins or Triplets, you can have all children on the same card - thats just 1x registration, Fraternal babies are encouraged to have their own cards if they look very different.
Do you interview children?
We don’t ask you to bring your children in for an interview. We know that a 10-minute interview can’t sum up whether your child is suitable. Kids, especially babies and young ones could be having a bad day or take time to warm to strange environments. We trust you are their parent or guardian to know if they are suitable to work in the Entertainment Industry. As long as your photos are accurate and not Photo-shopped, we are happy to make the decision based on their photos. Children who can dance, sing or perform, definitely have an advantage, as they will have confidence and stage presence.
Yes we sure do. We are not a high fashion agency loooking for a particular look, height or size, we supply artists for a wide range of advertising & television. Some models are more suitable for catalogue and fashion than other, some better for TV Commercials and others because of their cultural background for specific TVCs aired in other countries.

Within the Entertainment Industry there are some set up costs involved such as: casting sites, comp card creation, website uplaods etc... A casting is an audition (job interview), requested maining for TV commercials and Advertising Campaigns prior to a booking. Clients want to see you in person and see how you are on camera. Photoshop is used a lot in photography these days and some clients prefer to meet you in person. If running on schedule this should be a 5-10 minute process. Most castings are located in the CBD – unfortunately at casting stage travel and parking expenses are NOT covered.
What is a Comp Card?
Comp Cards are used globally within the modeling industry. This is how agencies professionally present their artists details to clients upon request, upload on their website & use for marketing and for social media networks, such as Facebook and Twitter. Multiple changes can be made (unlike the old fashioned hard-copy cards). We can update photos and measurements – especially since our children and pregnant models are ever growing. Our cards are printable for you to access easily.
Portfolios are books/folders that are used by models to present photographic work to clients. It is not necessary for children to have these, as their look changes so quickly and portfolios quickly become out of date. They are also quite costly, so the extra expense is not necessary. TVC clients do not request to see portfolios, as they will video record you at an audition.
Do I need professional photos or a portfolio?
Your photo is your first impression, if it is professional, you look professional.
However, you can provide your own photos and keep your set up costs down. We bare in mind many Models already have a great current portfolio and do not require new images to be taken. If you know a photographer (friend or relative), we encourage you to shoot as often as possible, we need your card to be updated regularly (especially cheeky bumps), each time your child is at a new stage of development we like to capture this on their card (sitting, crawling, walking, teeth, hair, skills).
We can recommend you to shoot with one of our trusted photographers, these images can create your portfolio and for your comp card, safe in the knowledge that you are getting great value for money - costing between $95-$140 per session, location or studio (price is per session - not per person) siblings/families/singles are welcome, all high res images received - no hidden costs for extra images/prints.
Sorry, we can’t guarantee anyone work. As beautiful and talented as you may be clients are looking for particular things and we don’t make the final decision. However I do have great communication with the clients and will not send you to a casting/audition if you are not suited (AKA a cattle call).
Although there is a great deal of money that can be made if you are chosen for the right job kids modeling should be treated like a hobby, entering a competition or playing competitive sport, something you enjoy and look forward to. Seeing work in magazines and catalogues is always exciting and keeping this material for keepsakes and memories is wonderful. The industry is a competitive one but you have to be "in it to win it" and if you have fun and don’t take it too seriously it can be win/win for you and the people you model for.
How many jobs a year do you get?
It’s hard to know how many jobs we might get in a year but take a look at our client list; with details showing which division they are relevant to. Timing and availability helps. If you are never away on holidays and attend every casting, you have a much better chance of working. Over the year we can track the list of auditions we have submitted for through Casting Networks, by using a tool called Talet Reports.
How do I know if I get a casting or job?
We SMS our casting calls and ask that you to reply if you can or can’t make it. After the casting, it’s a bit of a waiting game. Not all clients will advise us if you didn’t get the job - so unfortunately no news is generally a disappointing answer. However if you are successful scripts will be emailed to you, or if it’s short notice you will receive a phone call from us. You can see our daily activity on Facebook and our Fan Page. This is Bump Models voice and the best way to keep up to date with progress we are always uploading client castings, the names of the models who get the castings and also who gets the job.
Our accounts team send a payment request form with a job number, which you complete and return with your bank details.
A Deal Memo is first given to us by the casting agency, followed by a contract with client, detailing fees, loadings, overtime etc but this will all be discussed and agreed with you before the job starts. We deduct 20% Agency commission from all jobs (as per contract) other deductions could be GST & PAYG Tax (20% for adults). 11% Superannuation is paid to adults who earn over $420.
How do I see my work from a job I have done?
Unfortunately it’s not the client or modeling agency’s responsibility to collect shots or footage from a job. Most work will not be released until it has aired or been released to the general public. It is then sometimes a case of searching through magazines, websites or You Tube to find it.
Although here at Bump we are very good at collecting footage, we do still miss some, so we encourage you to email us the scanned images, links or information on how to collect it for you – info@bumpmodels.com.au
We will then upload this onto your comp cards, Facebook and instagram.
