Bio

I was a successful model when I became pregnant with my first child in 2008. After hearing the amazing news I decided I wanted to continue modeling throughout a time of my life that I felt I was blooming. But as my baby bump grew I received less and less bookings through my regular agent and I realised that if I wanted to work I had to take steps of my own.

I took it upon myself to find work without my agent and soon landed no less than eight fabulous photo shoots. Luckily for me my bump showed early and my first shoot was at just 18 weeks.

During the weeks that followed the need for pregnant models became obvious, I worked more than ever whilst pregnant with my gorgeous son Duke.

In the months that followed friends became pregnant and asked me how I got such great pregnancy work. Because of the excellent relationships I had formed during my pregnant modeling sessions I was able to share those contacts and before I knew it I’d become a pregnancy model agent over-night!

After some research I found that there wasn’t an agency in the southern hemisphere providing this niche type of modeling. I had proven that I could continue to be a successful model whilst pregnant and knew I could make it happen for other models too. Bump Models and its Pregnancy Division were born.

Even after my pregnancy the photo-shoots continued to fly in and I modeled everything from nurse-wear to baby accessories as well as being a really successful plus-size model (although I still can’t believe a size 12 Australian is actually considered plus-size!).

In 2009 I was continuing to book lots pregnancy work for models all over Australia when I became pregnant with my second child, my adorable little girl Zsa Zsa.

It was at this point that I had the idea to launch a Mother & Child Division, where real models and their own babies could be booked for a job to work together. Let’s face it, who will a baby interact best with on set? Of course, their gorgeous Mum!

It goes without saying that beautiful models create beautiful babies; my clients realized this and began to request models children for shoots. It was then that I decided to add a kids division to our growing model agency offering.

Called Cheeky Bumps it was different to other children’s agencies by having the niche of offering newborn babies; most others won’t represent newborns and they can only provide babies over 6 months old.

It was only a matter of time before we were asked about the Dads out there and this completed the set for our Family Agency with a Father & Child Division, which is growing rapidly and already proving successful in TV Commercials.

In 2010 Cosmopolitan Pregnancy Magazine called me a “mum-preneur” and once our team grew it gave me more time and the creative ideas kept coming…

With affordable professional photographs hard to come by we decided to offer a full photo service in our Photo Crew Division. Here we offer a studio or location photographer, together with make-up artists and models, meaning the possibilities are endless. We can simply update models portfolios; pregnancy, post-pregnancy, or with their newborn babies and children or shoot entire collections for our clients.

Bump Models is growing more than ever. We are now known as Australia's ONLY Family Modeling Agency. See whom we’ve been working with in on our Clients page.
