How do I become a model with Bump Models?
Bump Models will only represent you, if we believe that you will get work in the modeling industry.
If you think you have potential, we request that you send some snap shots showing your full body & face, against a white wall or background. We also require some professional shots from previous modeling, some wedding shots can be accepted, as long as you are stood alone and not wearing a veil on your head.
The most important thing is we see the real you.(click here for examples).
Please include your full name, comp card measurements - height, bust, chest, hips, waist (in inches), age, due date, hair & eye colour, contact details & state where you live.
Send directly to our Agency – info@bumpmodels.com.au
Bump Models will then assess your potential and reply to your enquiry.
Hopefully you will be asked for an interview to discuss your future with us.
What are we looking for?
Typically models have to be 5'7 (173cm) - 5'11 (180cm) and a size 8 - 10. Confidence is essential and experience is preferred in modeling/performing arts/dance.
How many photos do I need for modeling?
At least 4 x great shots for your comp card.
You must have some great professional shots for your comp card & our website. Some wedding photos could be used providing you are stood on your own with no veil on your head.
How much do shoots cost?
If you require photos for your book, website and composite card, we do recommend you have some photos taken if you don’t already have an adequate portfolio.
It is not compulsory that you use any of our recommended photographers (see our “photo shoot crew” for prices starting from as little as $150), however, if you genuinely expect work in the modeling industry, you need to be professional and own a small portfolio.
Is there a joining fee?
No, a reputable modeling agency should not charge you a joining fee, however you will be charged for your comp card.
Why do I need a comp card?
A composite card is the model's way of promotion. We constantly send it out to clients by via email (see example).
Without a composite card, Bump Models cannot promote you; this is why it is important I have at least 4 great photos of yourself.
